Your questions,
answered straight.
The short, useful version: what Spacefast is, what it costs, and what happens at the edges. Spacefast is in research preview. Put your name down below and we’ll come and find you.
The basics
What is Spacefast?
Where the things your agent makes go to live. It publishes a folder of files. You get a link you can send to anyone, a version history, and a space that stays yours. Real hosting, not a demo that expires.
When will I get an invite?
We are sending out invites every day. If you have cool ideas and want to skip the line, .
What can I put on it?
Anything that runs on the web. From a single HTML page for presentations, research, games, to frameworks like Next.js, Astro, TanStack Start and more.
Which AI tools does it work with?
Any of them. Claude, Claude Code, ChatGPT, Cursor and VS Code are the ones people reach for most, but nothing about Spacefast is specific to a single tool.
The product
Can I move an existing site?
Yes. Most sites currently deployed on popular platforms can be moved over with no code or configuration changes.
How fast is a publish live?
A new version is usually live within ten seconds of the upload finishing. There is no build queue and no pipeline to configure. Spacefast serves your files as they are.
Keeping it yours
How long does my link stay live?
Until you decide otherwise. Spaces do not expire for inactivity and versions stay republishable. Ask your agent to unpublish and the link stops working straight away.
Who can see what I publish?
Only the people you send the link to. Everything is private by default, not listed anywhere, not indexed, until you make it public.
Can I take everything and leave?
Yes, by design. One command downloads every file of any version to a folder you can host anywhere. Staying should be a choice you keep making, not a lock you discover.
Plans and billing
What does it cost?
Start free with unlimited cached traffic, 10 GB storage and 3 custom domains. Upgrade to Plus for $4.99/month for more storage and increased limits.
What exactly does Free include?
Real hosting, not a trial: unlimited static serving, 10 GB of storage, 3 custom domains and 1 editor, with the database, CI, transactional email and spam checks included. No card, no trial clock.
What do the paid plans add?
Room, not features. Plus is $4.99 a month or $49.99 a year: 50 GB, 10 domains plus a wildcard, 3 editor seats. Pro is $49.99 a month or $499 a year: 200 GB, unlimited domains, 10 seats. Extra seats are $4.99 a month on either plan, and every seat you add raises the plan's limits with it.
What happens when I hit a limit?
Your pages keep serving. Static serving is not metered on any plan, so a busy day is never a bill. Limits apply to storage and the built-in services. When you are close we say so, and we remove nothing of yours without asking first.
Can I use my own domain?
Yes. Free includes three custom domains and paid plans raise the count. A domain registered with WordPress.com never counts against the limit. SSL is automatic.
What account do I sign in with?
A WordPress.com account. Spacefast is an Automattic product and doesn't invent another login. One account covers your spaces, your team and your domains.
Trust

How do I publish a page?
Tell your agent to publish it with Spacefast. It hands back a link you can send to anyone, in the conversation you were already having. No dashboard to open, nothing to configure.
Do I need an account?
No. The first publish sets up everything it needs, so you can go from a conversation to a live link without signing up for anything.
What does claiming do?
It makes an anonymous space yours. A first publish works without an account and hands back a claim link. Claiming attaches the space to your account, same URL, full history. Claim within six hours, or the unclaimed space expires.

Publishing and updates
How fast is a publish live?
A new version is usually live within ten seconds of the upload finishing. There is no build queue and no pipeline to configure. Spacefast serves your files as they are.
Can I update a page after publishing it?
Yes. Ask your agent to publish again and the same link picks up the change. Every publish is kept as a version, so you can also put any earlier one back.
What if I switch agents mid-project?
Nothing breaks. The history lives with the space, not the chat. Point a new agent at the same space and it picks up where the last one left off.
Can I move an existing site?
Yes. Most sites currently deployed on popular platforms can be moved over with no code or configuration changes.

Who can see what I publish?
Only the people you send the link to. Everything is private by default, not listed anywhere, not indexed, until you make it public.
Can I share a private space with specific people?
Yes. Invite people by email, or create a revocable link for someone who shouldn't need an account. Either way you can take access back whenever you like.
Can I take everything and leave?
Yes, by design. One command downloads every file of any version to a folder you can host anywhere. Staying should be a choice you keep making, not a lock you discover.
Can I delete a space?
Yes. Ask your agent, or do it from the dashboard. Deleting retires the space's addresses for good. They are never handed to someone else.
